AMT AND VAN TETERING JOIN FORCES: VAN TETERING’S PRODUCTION ACTIVITIES TO MOVE TO BREDA

Steenbergen, 28 November – AMT Group from Breda and Van Tetering Railroad Equipment from Steenbergen are entering into a strategic partnership under which Van Tetering’s production activities will be transferred to AMT in Breda as of 1 January 2026. The agreement was officially signed last Tuesday by Frank Frijlink on behalf of Reesink Construction Equipment NL B.V. and Sven Elst on behalf of AMT Group.

Due to the expected growth in the rail market and the increasing demand for machine electrification, the decision was made to enter into a cooperation agreement. The sector is set to change significantly in the coming years: the electrification of machines requires new knowledge, a different way of working, and additional technical support. To prepare for this, Van Tetering sought a reliable and professional partner who could help guide this development in the right direction. AMT is an experienced company with extensive expertise in electric drivetrains and is a specialist in the rail sector. By partnering with AMT, Van Tetering will be able to continue providing customers with high-quality and innovative solutions in the future.

Reesink Construction Equipment NL B.V. will remain the exclusive importer of Atlas equipment for the Benelux. Together, both parties will continue to serve customers across Europe with railway and zero-emission Atlas machines. Van Tetering Railroad Equipment will continue to provide the level of service customers are accustomed to from its Steenbergen location.

With this step, AMT strengthens its position in the market. “The Van Tetering team brings a tremendous amount of experience to Breda. We look forward to jointly offering a broader and stronger portfolio to our customers.”

In the run-up to the relocation of several employees, all necessary preparations will be made in the coming months to ensure a smooth transition and warm welcome for Van Tetering staff at their new location in Breda in January.
