The Atlas 180Wsr with a double cabin has been converted into a rail machine by the specialists at Van Tetering Groundwork and Rail Machines B.V. in Steenbergen. The conversion from a base machine to a rail machine requires a lot of time and attention, including features such as a reinforced rail chassis with a fork system, Last Moment Safety System, shunting couplings, electric fuel pump, hydraulic stabilizers on the left and right, additional reinforced counterweight, and an overpressure system.
In addition, the rail machine is equipped with various practical and safety options, including toolboxes on both sides of the undercarriage, a fire extinguisher, first aid kit, short-circuit cable, environmental package, reverse signal, rail lighting, and additional work lighting. The Atlas 180Wsr is delivered with a hydraulic quick coupler and an extendable boom.
These are just a small part of the many modifications carried out by Van Tetering. This specialization is valued by end-users, which is why we maintain long and intensive relationships with many customers working on and around the rail.
